2440 with 225 Hyd. Banding Kit
The Banding Kits were started in the 1960’s. The orchard and vineyard people wanted equal amounts on each row, but wanted to do two rows at a time. We now have banding kits that do this as each row has its own opening. There is the one row left side only banding kit #276 for the three bigger units. The #180 banding kit that does two rows with equal amounts per row. The 225 Manual banding kit has independent openings for each row to be opened and closed by hand levers. The 225 Hydraulic banding kit uses a hydraulic cylinder to open and close both openings.
Now, the GT-77 electric seeder has a banding kit for the small acreage person that does not have the time to do it by hand.
